Since December 2023, I have requested the transfer of my RRSP from AI to my financial institution. Despite all documents being thoroughly reviewed, it has taken an unusually long time to receive a response, only to be informed that my request has been rejected.

On April 24th, I received a letter from AI stating that my RRSP is payable to CIBC, yet a month has passed and it has still not been sent to my financial institution. Additionally, I have not received any information regarding the transfer of my Spousal RRSP. After six months of waiting, I feel compelled to express my dissatisfaction with the level of service provided by WFG and AI. The lack of professionalism in customer service has left me feeling frustrated, especially considering the significant delay in processing my request and retaining my investment with your company.

While I understand the importance of security measures and office processes, waiting for six months without resolution is truly disappointing. Furthermore, it has been challenging for both myself and my financial institution to contact WFG and AI company, as the phone number provided on the statement is not functional.
