Any company that would sell a 19 year old with no income (he is a trainee for them) a 200 dollar a month retirement policy is garbage. The sad part is my son believes he is working for a reputable firm as they are draining his small inheritance. World Financial Group a...

My only advise to all skeptics and people who thinks that WFG is a scam is to do their own research first and stop posting non sense.

World Financial Network Bank

P.O. Box 182273

Columbus, OH 43218-****

This is the address associated with Dress Barn account that calls my phone repeatedly from different numbers 614 212 ****, 913 563 ****, 614 729 ****, and a host of others. I will never open another account that has anything to do with these jerks. Out of an entire year, I was late once. They are screwballs that don't leave a message and hang up when the answering machine comes on. And for the *** that states that people need to pay their bill, why don't you get your information straight before making such an ignorant comment.

Federal law

do you know its a federal law that if you are behind one payment that people are not aloud to come to your house for a payment, you should check your laws or a lawyer can. i will pay this loan if i have to pay 10.00 a week and i know if im trying to pay this loan and you refuse this payment the loan is paid in full. i will contact an attorney and i will have this company shut down. if i have to i will go to my bank and get a loan for half the interest and i will slander you till you are out of buisness. who gives you the right to think your god you are a bunch of loan sharks

You've obviously Googled the wrong company to place your complaint against. Accurately research the correct company prior to making slanderous remarks about a company that was created to protect families, not hurt them.

World Financial Group is in the business of helping families obtain Life Insurance, eliminate their debt and create short and long term savings for retirement. THEY DO NOT GIVE OUT LOANS OR COLLECT DEBTS.

You are confusing WFG with perhaps another organization with a similar name. Once you realize the error you have made, you just might become a customer of the true WFG.

Do you really belive this bull shi..

A Thousand of people have lost money with them. Are you brainless ?

#170361

Uhhh, WFG doesn't give out loans, they're a brokerage firm which helps you get insurance and invest through other companies...you must be confused...

They do supposedly because I have "soaked" over $1500 bucks to "secure" a loan and still no money. So if you can answer that question on why I was contacted by World Financial Group that I had been approved for an $8000 loan, then have at it.

Because, I have been trying for several weeks now to get the proceeds of the loan and still nothing. Are they preying on people that are in need of help or are they actually there to "get you on the road to financial freedom" as their business model presents?

Again, answer these questions and you may have a point, otherwise you must be a brain-washed employee.

Please post your thoughts for I am sure there are a lot of consumers out there wondering the same thing.

Please cite the law to which you are referring. Your comment is incorrect. Please read the contract you signed.I don't know where people get such crazy ideas about making token payments and such.

My friend, 65 years old, signed up with WFG 2 years ago. He is now the proud owner of two piece of *** houses in Bakersfield, with interest only loans! They advised him to take all the equity out of his 51 year-old house, and buy the 2 homes with interest only loans!...

"Buy TERM and Invest the DIFFERENCE"

Where?

Mutual Fund? 401K?

IRA?

All tied to the stock market, remember 2008? There are tons of people got wiped out lost almost 40-50% of their life saving, this one person who had over $2M in 401K in 2007 by the end of 2008 he had $1.2M left, yes he still has money, but can he be happy or retire happily and comfortably? Of course not.

You know why some company likes to sell terms? because most people don't die young or within the term.

Most people die when they are old, and by the time when they get old their term life policy probably lapsed.

You put money in IUL you get life protection for pretty much your entire life unless you live past 121 yr old.

It also gives you great return similar to S&P 500 return rate and also there is a floor, even if S&P tanks you will still get anywhere between 0-1% in return for that down year. DON'T listen to people pushing you to get TERM and INVEST IN OTHER STUFF, such as Primarica, they love to tell people to only buy term and invest everything else in their mutual fund of which is a Primarica product so they can make commission from that as well.
