They call every day all day long. My husband answered and they hung up. I won't answer because anyone who calls that much and then hangs up when you answer doesn't necessarily mean they are a scam, but it does mean they are breaking the rules and they are...

I know many people in World Financial Group and they don't harrass people like that. Are you sure they are from World Financial Group and not from some collection company?

Multiple phone calls per day from World Finance Group

I submitted some contact information to a website that would provide interest rate quotes for refinancing my mortgage. A few companies called and after discussing my situation decided not to refinance. All the other companies stopped calling except World Finance. They call between 3 and 5 times per day including Saturday. I told them multiple times not to call but it does no good. I have caller ID so I don't answer most of the time but when I do there is a recorded voice that says that this is not an automated call (it obviously is), then it transfers to a real person. I tell the real person not to call but it is as if that person has no control over who gets called or doesn't care. I believe there is law that regulates how automated call centers like this are managed and that there needs to be some way to have your number removed from there system. I don't know how to get my number removed from this system.

World financial group

They give you line of credit for Google Adwords account, They bill you but will not pay Google, Google will ask for their funds within 24 hours, You paid them & have to pay Google. You will not get your money back from them, A real sweet swindlers. If you do not pay them, They will go around and cancel your Google Adwords campaign, You can request to re install your Adwords campaign but it will take 3 months, Meanwhile you will lose out, If Google or others call you about line of credit, Just hang up the phone, Save your self a headache. Stay away from World Financial Group for the Google account.

What are you talking about??? World Financial Group does NOT work with Google, as far as I know. Maybe you should check the name of the company again, cuz World Financial Group is NOT a bank and doesn't offer lines of credit as one of its financial services!

Maybe you should pay closer attention to whether or not the pop-up windows are actually legitimately connected with the site you see them on. Sometimes they just appear to be related to the site, but are actually phishing companies or other tricky entities.

Perhaps you could get some answers from Google? I've never heard of "Google Adwords", but the name itself implies that it's an ad of sorts and maybe not even connected with Google at all.

Good luck with finding out about the "Adwords" company!

JC Penney should have them. Most stroes that sell bras have them. I would buy them now but buy a cup size or two up to leave room for any enlargement once your milk comes in.

World Financial Group doesn't use automated calling systems nor do they have any connection to Capital. You are slamming the wrong company. World Financial Group's primary focus is to provide financial concepts to families overlooked by the financial industry so that they can improve their financial situation and protect their families (insurance).

I'm sorry you sucked at it. You didn't lose your friends because of the company.

You lost your friends because you joined a company without early knowing how to grow and didn't make an effort to actually get good at it.

You just tried to get rich quick and obviously failed.

You would have gotten the same result in any company regardless of the services.

I agree with most of the complaints have posted but i also agree 100% that WFG is what you make out of it. Yes they have asked me to provide names of friends and relatives (I havent).

I have refrained from the call Center approach because i will not try to compete with the many sales calls people already get from automated call centers.

However, the products are real, the money you can make is real and once I got my license i let the products and my paycheck recruit for me. I am a simple guy, "Show me the money!" and even though i am getting paid, the advantages always goes to the client, they get a product that will give them more interest on their investments, living benefits, tax advantages.

Constant calls at a business i work at!!

I work at a mom and pop fashion boutique and get constant calls. Up to 7 times a day! Mostly they hang up, which leads me to believe its a scam. I have demanded they stop calling and have even called back to one of the numbers ans reached someone who barley spoke English and said to stop harrassing the business that I work at. He said calls would stop and an hour later a woman called from guess who! World financial. I don't know what to do. I myself used to work for a payday loan establishment and there are specific rules, and I know that they are breaking them..

yea you are right, people are so *** 20 yrs in the business and its still a scam. Voted best in forbes magazine and its still a scam..just because people don't do well and make no dame money and can't follow rules they call it a scam..recruiting is a privlidge, when you go find a job you are going to a person so they can recruit you!

stop being a slave for other people and stop having a employee mindset. Thats why those people will forever be broke and unhappy with their lives HAHAHA "pointing finger at those fools"

#513012

They just featured World Financial Group and Transamerica Financial Advisors in Forbes magazine. Lol such a scam...

You "smart" people have figured it out but one of the most well known and famous business magazines still hasn't! What will that do their credibility?! OMG! One of you idiots should warn them!!!!

Lol such ignorant people. I do not work for this company I am however a very happy client! Had it not been for them I would have lost everything! The financial industry is one of the most highly regulated industries in the world.

Do you really think they would still be around going on 20 years now if they were scamming people? I really do feel sorry for some of you.

#511963

Cathy, you make a pretty *** point. Oh no wait, YOU'RE smart enough to be recruited!...?

#490406

Seriously, you wouldn't qualify to work for wfg anyway. Whoever tried to recruit you gave you the benefit of doubt. Regulated by SEC and the State, have to pass Serious exams, LOL

I am with WFG. From the beginning, its important to note that I love this company and have had a good level of success here.

I have also trained dozens of people who make a six figure income. However, I think that pretending that none of these posts are true is naïve. I have also seen many agents sold on the merits of working crazy hours now so that you can live the life you want later. I agree fully with the individual that posted their experience.

Most of us already have a dream life. We need but look at what's right in front of us. We are so blessed to live in a great country, have the basics of life and people who love us. I have found that by working with passion and efficiency you can have a great life at work and at home.

I have never worked Saturdays or Sundays, yet still managed to build a solid business with residual income. The biggest benefit is a team that we have built over the years that has become like family.

WFG is not for everyone: It is not a perfect company. But I can honestly say it has been a great place for me to build a solid business and raise a family on a balanced schedule.

Cheers!

The company made it that i could not log in

i could not log in . At first i thought i typed in wrong but i went to my deleted mail and checked my log in information. The log in information was the same one that would not take. I then tried again and once again-NOTHING! I e mailed to World Financial Group but nothing! It was a good t hing i only put $ 10 in there but even so, money is money. This is a scam or a borderline scam. It was kind of odd that my log in changed from the next day. The log in that i used was right it just would not work.

Have you asked your trainer for the WFG home office phone number? It's on the East coast, so be aware of the time difference when you call them.

They will help you get into your account online.

Maybe it's just a simple mistake that keeps you locked out, like using too many characters in your password to log in.

#472752

Did you call your agent or financial advisor to see why the login would not work? Seems an easy fix to contact them.

WORLD FINANCIAL call in the early morning hours

These *** people call in the early hours of the morning. Don't these nitwits know there are time zones and to check these before calling people. When they do talk to whomever, there is nothing done about these distrubing calls. They are not helping people, they act as a collection type agency. They will call and then ask you to hold they will be with you momentarily. RIDICULOUS!!!! There isn't much more that I can say except these people are not too bright and extremely inconsiderate. I think they must work from a script - that explains their limited mentality.

WILL ING, AVIA, NATIONWIDE,PRUDENTIAL MERGE WITH A SCAM COMPANY?

Three commonest statements I hear in America everyday are: 1. I don't know, 2. I don't care, 3. I'm sorry. we live in a time where people are so impatient hence act before thinking. Will big financial giants like AVIVA, JACKSON NATIONAL, NATIONWIDE INS,PRUDENTIAL, ING,WESTERN RESERVE ETC ALLOW A SCAM COMPANY TO REPRESENT THEM? Think twice and don't follow deceptive reviews. Every company have their bad side but for me, I wouldn't have realise my dreams without WFG. the current financial industry is structured only for the rich. WFG helped me and other poor folks build wealth over time.

If you have stated what appears to be the obvious, what is the reason that these companies allow themselves to be associated with them? It really isn't enough to make claims regarding the legitimacy of a firm if you cannot state what you have said is the obvious. There are two phrases that you should define, "Formal Fallacy"

and "Informal Fallacy".

World Financial waking my parents at 7am daily

World Financial Group is repeatedly calling my parents and waking them in the am and continuosly call throughout the day. She has told them that they need to cease and desist from this nagging annoying call and they have refused. We need to know how to alleviate this as soon as possible. It is disturbin, annoying and a nuisance. I also think that a 100 word minimum is quite unneccessary as the point of my complaint by now has been reached. I hope that you can help me with this matter and anyone else who has suffered from this nuisance.

You people should get these calls then you would shut your *** mouth!! Get a life and quit trolling websites leaving comments you know nothing about!!

Us middle class people are just trying to make a living and you rich ##%$#$ keep taking it all!! Get a life!

#477193

I also get up to 8 calls per day starting at 8am. They do not leave a message and when I have answered they hung up.

I have NO IDEA who these people are and cannot make any payments due to this fact. ARGH!

#459134

I'm sorry but even with "debt" on your hands, they still shouldn't call every *** day. My mom has debt from other places and they have the *** decency to call at least once a week, at the most 3 times a week, and even then they don't call at 7am in the morning.

If they were really being considerate they should take into account "time difference" and go on from there. I can see where the OP is coming from, especially if these people work late night and need to sleep during the day. And in all seriousness, if they really had debt I'm sure it would have been paid off by now, or at least are in the process of paying it off slowly. Fact is they need to butt the *** out of our personal lives and learn to call at a proper time and have a backbone in their body, which clearly they don't seem to have.

I've said my peace, I don't give a *** about what anybody else has to say about this or my comment. :roll :zzz :p

The best course of action is to contact the Office of the Attorney General. Explain that you and others are victims of predatory behavior.

Second, you will need proof and the best proof is from the elderly who have been hardest hit.

It is necessary to do this so that you do not appear to be disgruntled. You should start a blog specifically for victims.

#444706

Since they are the primary creditor, they dont have to follow the FDCPA...thats only for collection agencies.....but the best way get them to stop is to make a payment or stop avoiding them and answer your own phone

#439116

Debt Collectors calling? Pay your bill - wow, it's really that easy.

Done. Next?

How long are your "family and friends" you are pitching to going to stay your family and friends support system when they only hear from you when you want to guilt trip you into buying from you or talk you into becoming "associates?" It's amazing how often extended family suddenly contact their family members they haven't spoken to in years just to give you a MLM sales pitch, or "invite" you to become an associate. Life insurance is a good thing but hounding everyone you've ever met to sell it to you so they can make money on you isn't a good thing.

World Financial Group

Ok, have a meeting with a representative with WFG. I had seen an ad on Craigslist about being an entrepreneur in the Insurance Industry. Answered the ad, no resume, no references or anything. Get a call from a representative and am told I have the necessary experience and I am already licensed, so that is not an issue. Was told by the rep, that he places an ad everyday in Craigslist but words them all differently and has been doing this for the better part of 2011. Met with the representative, and he told me he had three people currently working for him. (In this economy, you run an ad everyday for the better part of a year and only have three people working with you????) One person was located in Maryland, I am in Florida and the other two were in Florida. He also mentioned that he didn't hear back from one of his recruits in Florida. So he has two people??? He told me to come up with a list of possible prospects/recruits about wanting to get involved in this kind of business. I wouldn't know anybody who would be interested in this type of business and really wouldn't feel comfortable about talking about it. I've heard this so many times in the insurance industry, "Just tell your friends that you are embarking on a NEW CAREER and that you would like to talk to them about it. My friends aren't that ***, to know what that implies. He showed me pamphlets with three different marketing strategies and asked me which one I was interested in, just met the man, I think I should have been able to read them and not go by title alone. Also, he told me he would like me to go to a convention this February and I am sure it would be at my own expense. Vague answers, working towards the dream, recruiting people etc. is not really my idea of an entrepreneur and definitely not my idea of a job.

To WFG Agents, don't be afraid to tell the world we are who we are. Don't try to hide behind the bush and get people to come to your meeting for wrong reason.

Be upfront and let all your prospect know that this is not an hourly job or salary job. This is an independent work opportunity. If they say no to that, you won't want them anyways.

Be truthful, transparent and upfront. May God fight your battles for you.

#436898

Dear Ractun, I have worked with WFG for several months now and I am here to tell you that it has been a very good experience. They have a great business model and really do try to help people.

It has been the opportunity I have been waiting for. I was tired of working for someone else in a job I was not interested in. This gave me the opportunity to work for myself. It does require a lot of training, but the finance industry does not only have to be for finance majors.

By getting the licenses you learn a lot. You get those licenses through the government, not WFG. Yes, they do have a lot of meetings that are very motivational, but that is a good thing. Yes, you have to recruit if you want to build a team, but you don't have to....you can do the work by yourself if you choose.

It is up to you. Besides, wouldn't you want to give your friends the same opportunity to work with you and not for someone else? Yes, you have to spend your own money as an independent contractor, but you can write it all off. Because of WFG I got the biggest refund I have ever gotten in my life.

Anyway, overall I am very satisfied with this company, and I am glad I have stayed on and keep working harder each day to educate families about their own finances and ways that may help them. I'm not sure how that is a scam or a bad thing? Also, have you looked at other industries? I have friends in the real estate market who are miserable.

They do tons of work with very little pay. I have friends in apartment management that are miserable. They are jealous. I am not out to recruit any of them.

I merely let them know what I am learning and what I do, and if they want that information, then I will be happy to share it with them on my time and on my dime because they are important to me. However, I never set out to recruit anyone. I want to help people, especially the people I know. If people want to join me in my effort, then I will encourage them because I think it is a very good business.

I enjoy the meetings and everyone I work with there. Yes, I have seen some of my business partners become pushy, but some people are just competitive. You see that every day in all sales positions. At least you do not have to do cold calling or go door to door.

You do not have to be pushy. I am not like that at all!

#693772
@PissedConsumer436898

Very well said Jen. I too have been with World Financial Group for a while and I find it a fantastic opportunity.

I served twenty-nine years in the Air Force and when my time was up, I was looking for somewhere that I could continue to serve people and make a difference. When I sit down with a family, I'm looking for ways to educate them on how money works, possibly restructure what they are doing financially so that they pay less in taxes or debt servicing. I strive to help them keep more in their own pocket and protect their family so that, should anything happen, their family will be able to keep their home and continue with the same or better level of comfort. I love the fact that I can meet people and get into their world to make a positive difference in their lives.

Yes, I would like to build a team; we need to because alone I'm limited in the number of people I can help. If I train people to go out and help others we can truly make a difference. World Financial Group is the only place I've ever know that is a true "Win, Win, Win, Win" scenario: The client wins because they can get free help through financial education, The partner product companies (ING, Nationwide etc) win because they get more clients without training the sales force directly, World Financial Group wins because they are growing and the agent wins because the commissions can be quite substantial for the time spent.

When product companies sign on with World Financial Group, they rise to the top of their market in revenues. I find that we don't need to be pushy for recruits: people decide for themselves what they want to do.
