My friend brought me to one of their meetings. Everyone was so overly enthused.

They brought me and other new people to watch a dvd then a ppt presentation. However, when I asked how the company works, they were very evasive with their answers. Then I asked other associates what they were exactly doing, all they could tell me was that "I'll learn in training". Very sketchy if you asked me.

After we left, my friend informed me that he paid $100 for a backround check. Another red light clicked.

If they're making so much money, they don't need $100 from my unemployed *** to preform a backround check. I decided to do some research on the company itself, and this was the first thing to pop up.

"Winning Life Over You" nice try. But one hyooge prob: You don't "own" your own biz.

You're only a contractor. Your customers are not yours. WFG--not you--totally owns them.

Please read your WFG AMA carefully.

Please educate yourself.

Thank you.

If I wanted to open up a pizza place it would cost me a whole lot more than the $100. I would need a bank and would start out in massive debt with the overhead alone would put me in financial ruin if my business failed.

Which, but the way, MOST businesses DO fail in their first year alone. So I would likely fail and then be stuck with hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt that would cause me to declare bankruptcy. Sorry buddy, but if you have any idea at all what it really takes to be in business for yourself you would actually see the value this company has to offer you. The training and professional development which are actually classes that normally could cost thousands of dollars alone to take on your own is worth the $100 you initially pay.

Think of it as a good faith investment, because that is exactly what it is. And again, if you don't actually have a background in finance, investments, or business you wouldn't understand that $100 is basically a down payment towards all the time and energy the company will invest in you to succeed. It is YOUR job to learn from the top earners in the industry (which they DON'T charge you for mind you) and it is YOUR responsibility to pour in all the time and energy necessary to make yourself a success because it is YOUR business and no one else is going to do it for you, the same as if you wanted to open up that pizza place. The licenses and the classes to prepare for the test, which by the way are actually at a steal of a price since these tests and classes would normally cost thousands of dollars as well, are all regulated THROUGH THE STATE.

If you don't pass, the state will NOT allow you to go any further. Honestly, it amazes me the amount of smack people are willing to talk when they aren't even in a position to say much. 80% of people who start in this business choose to leave within the first year. That's ok, move on over cause I made the decision on day 1 that I will NEVER quit this opportunity because I see EXACTLY how the system works and I KNOW we are helping families cause they have helped ME and mine in my time of need when I needed it most.

This company LITERALLY has saved my life without them even knowing it and I see the success I can and WILL have and I have nothing but extreme gratitude for all the amazing personal development and recognition I am receiving on a daily basis with them. They provide all the tools I need to make myself a success. They provide training, leadership opportunities, and constant recognition for all the hard work I put into my business. Let's face it, is the bank going to care or praise me if I'm a success at making pizzas?

NO. And will they care at all if my business fails and I can't pay back the debt they put me in for opening up shopt? NOPE. In fact, they will take everything I have and throw me and my family out on the streets if my business isn't a success cause all they care about is getting their money back (with insane interest) and they don't care how they get it so long as it's paid.

They are the mobsters of the world and yet we as the consumers are the ones that pay for their crimes. I LOVE WFG and all they have provided me because the time my executives pour into me on a DAILY basis, the wealth of knowledge and support they provide me, the leverage they provide me in their guidance towards financial freedom is completely invaluable. There is NO price to put on the time they have invested in me. The countless late nights, well into midnight, and the support they have given me in times of my struggle and moments of wanting to give up on life, those are what show me how much they truly care about my success.

Of course they want me to succeed. My success leads to their success but to reward me for all my hard work and pushing through the moments where I didn't think I could make it they pay LARGE AMOUNTS. This field is only meant for those that TRULY want to be a success and gain complete financial freedom over their lives. And they have a FULL-PROOF system that gets every single one of their hard working associates to that place so long as they have the drive and the backbone to actually WORK HARD for once in their life.

Working hard isn't getting to work on time, being a slave for 8 hours, just to sit through 2 hours of traffic and spend only 2 more hours with your children before having to go to bed to start all over again. Working hard is pouring your heart and soul into doing whatever it takes, however long it takes, and taking advantage of every opportunity that comes your way and learning from your mistakes (cause during the first year especially you will make countless mistakes that will have you doubting yourself). Working hard is being hungry enough to see the life you want for you and your family and knowing it will require constant dedication and sacrifice of your time and energy around the clock in the beginning but that you will eventually get there because the ONLY person that can stop you is yourself. I know I'm going to make it big with this company and I'm on my path to financial freedom.

I'm on my way towards a life where I no longer need the day job I have, a career I had hoped would value and appreciate me. I will be in a position to leave the j-o-b and live a life where I can travel whenever necessary or desired and still have my business running itself. I have the drive, passion, dedication, and the hunger to make MYSELF a success. Some people have what it takes, others dont.

That's ok, some people are ok working for 40 years just to live off of a percentage of what they have made their whole lives and then be in a fixed income til the day they die. There's nothing wrong with that if you are content with that. But I want the best for myself and my family. I want to be able to ENJOY life and spend my life learning from the top and most successful people in the world.

I want to be able to help inspire others and share my struggle and my story and be the leader to empower someone who knows what real life struggles are about.

Someone who has experienced so much pain and struggle in their lives where they are willing to put all of themselves into becoming a financial success. This company is going to help me get there and step-by-step I'm making my dreams come true.

What percentage of 2272$/year do you put aside? Just curious if you are still under mom and dads roof, eating in their refridgerator and they are paying your phone and bus pass?

We the people with non commission based jobs may not be all rich but we can live.

99.5% of all WFG agents and recruits do make 2272$ on average a year..that's the official WFG #'s for 2015.Dreams is all you have!

Can I see what money you made?

Good God, Ottawa Anon. It's YOU who are hopelessly wrong and confused.

Yes, you DO pay a non-refundable $100 fee to WFG to sign with this MLM. THEN you pay an additional $40 and up to take the 52-hour licensure course, and that's just for the Life License. Let's forget your WFG Playbook blah blah about "very highly regulated"--it's an ONLINE course with all the answers in front of you. You could pay someone else to do it for you if you wanted.

Oh and there's more expenses. If you want to sell securities like annuities, funds, stocks, bonds, you need to shell out more money to take the FINRA exams. There there's our E&O insurance at $25/month and up. Then there's our travel expenses always driving to local sites to sit through endless cult-like rah-rah sessions and the massive annual circle-j*rk in Vegas every June.

WFG mostly taught us how to recruit our buns off and flog terrible pricey risky products, especially Transamerica's FFIUL products which *no-one* should *ever* buy. I worked out of one of the less disreputable offices near SF, and even there we got hardly any quality objective training on the products. We were taught just how highlights the alleged good points and hide all their horrible downsides. The junk about how WFGers "work with middle America to educate them" is more steaming cr*p you excrete from straight out of the Playbook.

WFG have *hurt* thousands of friendships and family relations by pushing agents to sell them hard on lousy costly products.

Please, Ottawa Anon, I hope you'll wake up some day and get a clue. Thank you for considering.

You are very wrong and very misinformed. The $100 you speak of is not for a background check. It is the fee for the 52 hour training course that educates training associates about all aspects of insurance and investments allowing them to become licensed.

They have a trainer who works with them to give the very best information to clients. The California Insurance Commissionor and the commission itself if very highly regulated thus the very scrutinized education program and the ongoing training in the field with new associates until they have been verified ready to go out into the field on their own. No other financial instistution that I know of give this kind of training. We work with middle America to educate them on how to become debt free, save and protect their moey and make wise choices in their finacial decisons so that they can send their kids to college without huge debt, how to retire with sufficient income to live a great life style, and to have care when they become older.

What WFG agents do is hard work and not for everyone. Probably not for you.

Ottawa Anon, my response to you is above.

WFG does not charge for background checks. You are receiving a lot of misinformation, or you have come across a rogue agent. Trust me, if you want real answers hit me up

OFFICIAL WFG NUMBERS FOR 2015...FROM WFG ITSELF.

53,156 AGENTS

732,631,483$ in commission paid

EQUALS TO A WHOPPING 13,782$ A YEAR GROSS PER AGENT,SO AFTER TAXES AND EXPENSES OF FLIGHTS,HOTEL STAYS,ETC...WHAT'S LEFT...?WHO CAN LIVE ON LESS THAN 10K A YEAR IS MY QUESTION

This is to add to my previous post that there's a total of 197,772 new recruits on top of the licensed associates...so how much of that pety amount do they get...they all get paid out of that 732 million so I would suspect that most(95%) or more cannot live as WFG agents or associates.

Now put those 250 thousand working on commission agents and associate around your house and you will find that this is absolutely ridiculous as the market has been flooded...no wonder nobody can go around the corner without being hastled about joining or buying from friends and family.

You get out what you put in. I work my *** off and I'll make around 18k this month for WFG.

There are many agents on the bottom that are referral agents or they aren't doing well. I have a close friend making $600k per year after 4 years with WFG.

The FIRST red flag is a 1 week course that makes them all financial experts...oh of course a few pep talk sessions but who in his right mind would trust somebody without education and 1 week and an exam that you can take online as the background to trust them for your financial needs?

2 year course to begin with in business or finances is a must and then those here on the site will be able to tell us how hard they work because getting a license is so easy that it's a joke. And of course the commission paid make most of them not even getting 20$/day.WFG agents are here in droves to tell us how they work so hard..come on they don't even have education(college or university)to be good agents.Isn't it what they tell us repeatedly how they want to help us?They are gambling our money and have no clue what they are doing..kind of like playing the slots.

Guest

You are so ignorant.

Guest

Lmao, figures you're skeptical because your lazy *** didn't even have a job. I've made well over $15,000 a month with WFG.

Dumb ***. Maybe you should try working instead of *** about your life

You have not been a member and have not been in the system , have an unproven fact then you accuse organization of telling lies. But when it comes to banks, charging you unnecessary fees and interest , caused financial meltdown, a factual data, it's ok?

Do you know what is real vs based on story.? Who's being tricked you or those who understand how money works. You don't need expensive education about financial. Just go for free session.

Use them.

The reason people remain poor is bcuz they blame others . Poor people trust no one.
