I joined , attended meetings , I got my licence ,, then I sold two policies,, then I discovered that they don't want me to explain all about the policy to the client,,I mean negative points,,they said,,don't talk too much to the client ,,don't explain every each thing about the policy,,then I realized that I will sell policies that are not really as the coustemer expects,, ,,I.e. You need to twist and hide facts,,,,,so I quit.

So what will happen to you is

they will push you to arrange meetings with your friends , they sell insurance to your friends you get nothing cos you are not licensed yet

(((( don't take them to your friend until you get licensed)))

, they ask you to fool other persons to involve them just like yo

,they pay nothing,, and you are paying every thing,, if you want to try it,, first get your licence

,no,,need to go any training

,,don't take them to your friends,,

don't recruite people,,dooo not go to their symposiums,no use,,just wast of money,,

don't attend any of their meetings,, they are useless

, go once a month to the office don't go twice a week,,no matter how much they push you

they will keep pushing you to do these thing,,

so they get money,,not you,,

after you will be licensed then attend trainings

Learn about policies very well

Then sell to your friends policies ,,only if you feel that they really need it,, and explain every thing to your friend,, don't hide ,, don't lie

If you did well ,, if you like it,,you can stay with them

The way I told you by not attending their twice a week meetings,, and not going to symposiums in las vegans,,and not letting them meet and sell to your friends Befor getting licences,,not recruiting ,,Befor getting licensed,,these things will make your loss very minimal ,,

I feel that I was a fool

I lost almost almost 6000$

I lost a lot of time

My advice

Don't even start this

Even this guy who can't speak English knows it's a scam!

Holy ***. I'm so sorry that happened to you.

My friend introduced me into the group and it seemed legit at first but something seemed off. My grandfather was a realtor and taught me about business. I nearly kicked myself in the head when I realized how *** I was to fall for a pyramid scheme like this. What I don't understand is how they could take advantage of my friend who was only 18 at the time and literally already has nothing.

My friend literally had $7 left in his bank account and used that for buy gas to make it to one of their meetings. I'm grateful I didn't get any of my friends to join and I'm certainly grateful now that I only lost $100 for the course instead of almost $6000.

Totally sick and twisted. And for those of you who say oh, "you just didn't work hard enough or were ambitious enough." Those are the people you don't want to trust.

Anon, tell you what to do. Take NOTHING WFGers tell you on faith.

Don't listen to their pretty song of โ€œvast riches if only you work hard enough." Verify EVERYTHING in black-and-white--i.e. your contracts. If they talked you into getting that FFIUL policy, take that sucker--*every page of it*--to a โ€œfee-ONLYโ€ (NOT โ€œfee-basedโ€) financial advisor. This is an advisor that does NOT sell any insurance products and so is most likely to give the most honest opinion.

These policies are big (like 25 pages) often horrendously complex and quite often conceal lots of โ€œgotchasโ€ that lower your guarantees and heavily favor the issuer. You may have to spent $50--$150 for that eval. But if the FA finds it unsuitable for you--as he or she most likely will--youโ€™ll save many thousands of dollars over your life if you cancel it now. If you feel you need life insurance at this point, youโ€™re most likely much better off with a good term-life policy which costs as little as a fifth of that fee-larded Trojan pig of an IUL.

You can invest the rest in a super low-fee S&P 500 ETF in a tax-advantaged retirement account. Youโ€™ll come out WAY ahead 30-40 years from now. That FFIUL--and heavy recruiting--are WFGโ€™s big moneymakers.

If you hate recruiting and/or find that FFIUL to be a bad deal, you have to think about how youโ€™ll feel about yourself flogging this thing to your fellow humans beings. Esp to your family and friends who love you and trust you.

I'm sorry you were unsuccessful in a business platform that has worked for many.

The main requirement: You have to be willing to sell your soul.

You are a fool, learn how to spell correctly at least.

How did you loose $6,000 with WFG? An Insurance License is about a thousand dollars?

I grew up around A.L. Williams, my dad was with them for about 12 years until Art Williams screwed him by taking away his offices in three other states due to lack of production in his home office. WFG is based on A.L. Williams model.

Hubert Humphry was a National Sales Director for A.L. Williams. I'm looking into joining WFG. The products have changed but the organizational structure looks the same.

I was fresh out of high school when my dad left the business and did not like the idea of talking to people my parents age. I appreciate you input.

Knowing the dark legacy of this company, how the deceit flows down from the top, why would you possibly consider to join WFG?

Guest

wow, you did give very helpful tips for people who wanna give WFG a try.

I cant agree with you more.

you are so *** right about that the meetings and conferences are useless. You go to the training only for knowing your product well.

But they barely talk about the products but they can talk all day about recruiting or how to get to your warm market.

Again, for people who still wanna give WFG a try after reading comments here, to minimize your loss, you first to go get your license then talk to your friends or family members. Second, dont spend any money on attending those annual meetings.

How do I cancel my wfg account? I don't have access to my wfg account at all

Guest

That's why you are probably still at where you are at not making any money and thinking foolish. Instead of really looking at the real picture about helping families get out of poverty and becoming successful as you become successful as well and protecting their loved ones by not leaving them in debt.

This is a no brainer! This isn't a want!

This is a necessity! Hopefully you can one day really open your eyes to the truth because by you not continuing is where you really lost out!

The unofficial slogan for WFG: "the less the clients know, the better". This is very true, too bad half the clients are also reps!

Just so everyone knows, WFG is not the only Company in the financial industry structured like this. But it is the one who needs to hide things from its clients so they don't have a chance to have second thoughts. If you are looking to educate people about finances and feel good about what you're doing (actually helping people) while building a business, there is a better option out there.

Anon says "...Hopefully you can one day really open your eyes to the truth..."

That's the biggest load of projection I've read all month!

Anon, even in its printed guides WFG encourages its reps to keep prospects and recruits in the dark.

Check this from WFGโ€™s System Manual:

โ€œAvoid the Scenario of Disaster. *If you start answering too many questions*, it takes the edge off the prospectโ€™s curiosity.โ€ "Too many questions" LOL!!

Anon, please snap out of your religious haze.

Please stop bullsh*tting everybody. Including yourself.
